W/Mo Arrahhsh Mountainclub solo
Ok, Wammo solo build for this warrior yeti boss. He drops Arrahhsh's Aegis which is a +45/-2 green stance shield (pictured below)
Equipment
Sword or shield both + while enchanted is a good idea. You will have b.spirit on all the time. Any mods that give a defence bonus, +7 vs physical is ideal.
Minor strength, Superior tactics, nothing else matters.
Attributes
Smiting 10
Strength 9
Tactics 16
Skills
Sprint
Scourge healing (preferred to savage slash, more reliable and consistent in restricting healing)
Glads defence (e) OR Auspicious Parry (e) either will work fine, AP perhaps slightly quicker.
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Dolyak signet
Balthazar's spirit
Healing signet
Method
Leave from Boreas seabed into pongmei valley and head left (see map) You will see a waterfall with two groups of yeti's just to the left of it. Wait for these groups to separate and head straight between them. Now, you will see another group of yeti's in front of you and, if you look further down and left, you will see the boss - Arrahhsh Mountainclub and 2 other yetis with him. The easiest thing to do is target the boss and you will follow him. Once you aggro the group just before the boss group use sprint to get away from them. This will take you to the group of 3 yeti's (including boss). (Note, if you get crippled just slap dolyak on and tought it out)
Ok, the group consists of the warrior boss, another warrior yeti and a ritualist yeti. Ignore the ritualist completely. If the non-boss yeti attacks you KILL HIM FIRST. Cast scourge healing on him immediately and then i'm pretty sure the rest is familiar. Spam Dolyak, riposte.d riposte, glads defence etc etc (making sure to keep up scourge healing) until the first yeti dies. Now you are free to concentrate on the big guy. Same tactics - keep up scourge healing on him and spam the rest of your skills as often as possible (not forgetting to heal yourself) and he should fall fairly easily.
This is what you get:

this build should work swimmingly against Kayali the Brave, the Hammer boss in Mount Quinkai just outside the outpost which I forget the name of. He uses Healing Sig.
I tried bringing the interrupt merc but Kayali would just go straight for him. Scourge healing....never used it but let's give it a whirl!
TY!!!

...so it's another riposte warrior... This build would be 10x more efficient with IW instead of Gladiator's Defense, Ignorance instead of Scourge Healing, and a simple Flurry instead of Balth Spirit. Then you just replace the adrenaline riposte with Energy Tap.
Now you're hitting for 100s of dmg every 5 seconds with just flurry + IW, ignorance is blocking healing signet, and you can use an energy tap if you get low on energy...
@Johno77: What sword are you using? That thing is teh awesome.

The sword is either a Shadowblade or Victo's Blade.

It's a Shadowblade because he doesn't have any enchants on him and he doesn't have health degen.

Yep it's a shadowblade. And the build is for a Wa/Mo not a Wa/Me, so it may well be more efficent being a Wa/Me but it is also not relevant to a lot of us Wammo's Good ideas anyway though.

I tried this a couple of weeks ago and no dice. Energy management can be an issue because you are always blind.

Killed the boss at least 20 times so far, nothing except a superior restoration
Does this shield actually drop?

Yep, I have been doing it every day for the past... since this thread was made. Very nice build and ingenious, too, and yes he does drop. I've been getting the shields about once every 7 of runs for 15k each or so. Youre just unlucky ^^
